Community Announcements
| |
Everyone deserves the dignity of feeling clean and cared for. Our toiletry drive brings together the community to collect essential items—like soap, shampoo, toothpaste, and more—for neighbors in need. By donating, you’re helping provide comfort, confidence, and hope to those who may otherwise go without. Together, we can make a meaningful difference, one small item at a time. Donation box is located next to our circulation desk. |

This October, come on in to the library and pick up a costume! You can donate and/or take a costume. There are options for all ages. We have costumes, accessories, masks, wigs, and more!
Happy Halloween! ----------------------------------------------------------- | A BEACON OF HOPE IN BRIDGEWATER |

The Peace Pole at the Bridgewater Public Library, a collaboration with the Bridgewater Peace Committee, stands as a beacon of our community's hope. Etched with messages in eight different languages, this special landmark reminds us that the quest for peace is a global effort, much like the United Nations' work to engage young people in this important mission. With this pole, our town joins a wonderful global network of communities, such as those recognized by the International Cities of Peace (ICP) organization, all united in their commitment to building a more just and sustainable world.
Although the International Day of Peace is observed on September 21, the Bridgewater Peace Committee extends the celebration for a full week of events promoting non-violence. This year, we were thrilled to partner with The Rotary Club of the Bridgewaters and Bridgewater State University's Global Citizenship class, inspiring our local youth to be the leaders who carry on this crucial work. |

Join Jill Briansky of Purple Lotus for this grounding meditation session.
Within each of us lives a rich inner world made up of many parts—each holding unique energy, emotion, and wisdom. Some parts protect us, some carry old stories, and others are waiting to be seen and embraced. In this heart-centered talk, we’ll explore the nature of these internal energy parts and how they influence the way we move through life.
Through gentle guidance and embodied presence, you'll be led in a grounding meditation to meet and connect with one of your inner parts—the one that’s ready to step forward and be witnessed. This experience is an invitation to deepen your self-awareness, soften into compassion, and begin (or continue) the healing dialogue within.
Whether you're familiar with inner parts work or just beginning to explore your energetic landscape, this experience offers a sacred space for insight, healing, and connection to your true essence. Adults Only. |
