Plant The Future

Neighborhood Forest is giving out trees to plant with your children in celebration of Earth Day.  Follow the link to receive one (1) FREE sapling.  You may purchase additional trees through the link.  Neighborhood Forest will follow up with additional instructions on planting and you will receive an email from bwpl@sailsinc.org when your tree is ready for pickup. Jammin' With You puts the JAM in Jamboree and the U in Music! Come dance, sing and jam along with us at the Bridgewater Public Library this winter! With a modern and engaging approach to children's music entertainment, Jammin' With You takes your family on magical musical adventures with plenty of laughter and smiles along the way. This class is best suited for children ages 0 - 7 but is fun for the whole family! Pack your dancing shoes - we'll see you soon!

Hello Pokemon Trainers! Are you ready to get your game on at the Bridgewater Public Library?

  • Bring your own cards. We'll have a few extras to make a deck.
  • Trades are encouraged and part of the excitement! The student trainer will be available to provide guidance in an effort to make trading an enjoyable experience for all, but each person is responsible for his or her own trades. The club and library are not liable for any trades.
  • The Club will be run by a student trainer and is open to   kids 6-12 years old. A guardian must remain with kid(s).

Bridgewater Public Library's 2025 Flora T. Little Fellow, Anna Connor, will be presenting her research on Louise Dickinson Rich's 1955 memoir of growing up in Bridgewater, Innocence Under the Elms and the role such memoirs can play in the study of history.

An accompanying exhibit will be on display in the library's museum gallery space.  The presentation will be followed with a brief question and answer session.

As a pediatrician, Dr. Martin Gross is not just an expert on pediatric vaccines; he is an expert on vaccines for all ages. 

In this interactive informational session, Dr. Gross will provide an overview of vaccines, from the earliest use to the present, plus review the recommended vaccinations for all ages. From children to seniors, Dr. Gross will cover the routine immunizations schedules endorsed by medical and public health experts. 

A question and answer session will follow the presentation.

Join Bridgewater Triangle historian and researcher and experiencer Kristen Evans for the third and final installment in her presentation series on this fascinating and mysterious region.
In her talk, Beasts of Bridgewater Triangle: Cryptids and Other Creatures.

In this presentation, Evans will focus on the long history of Bigfoot sightings in this anomalous area, as well as reports of Pukwudgies, the legends behind them, and other strange appearances including Thunderbirds and more.

Evans has spent nearly 20 years researching the Bridgewater Triangle and has recently appeared on “Hometown Monsters” and “Expedition X” sharing  her own personal cryptid experiences. Don’t miss this chance to hear both history and firsthand encounters from someone who has lived the mystery.
