Friends Book Sale is Back!

Fall Book Sale
Wednesday, Sept. 22nd - Saturday, Sept. 25th

  • Members Preview Wednesday 9/22 4-7pm by appointment only.
    Call Southworth Library at 508-999-0726 to reserve your 45-minute time slot.

     
  • Sale Hours: Thursday 9/23 10am-7pm, Friday 9/24 10am-4pm & Saturday 9/25 10am-1pm.
     
  • Thousands of books, all in good condition, will be available for purchase. Book prices typically range between 50 cents and $2. 
     
  • Memberships can be renewed or purchased at the door throughout the sale.  All members will receive a coupon for one free regularly priced book.
Masks will be required for entry to the sale. Browsing will be limited to 20 patrons at a time throughout the sale.

Maureen Boyle Presents Her New Book
The Friends of the Dartmouth Libraries present 
Local Author Maureen Boyle
Tuesday, September 28, at 6:00 p.m.
North Branch Library

Boyle will discuss her latest book, The Ghost: The Murder of Police Chief Greg Adams and the Hunt for His Killer. The author explores the 1980 murder of Police Chief Greg Adams and the shocking discovery of his killer’s remains in a quiet Dartmouth neighborhood. 
 
Maureen Boyle, an award-winning journalist, has been a crime reporter in New England for more than 25 years and was the first to cover the New Bedford highway serial killer which she detailed in her previous book Shallow Graves.
