SEVENTH ANNUAL ART SHOW
Show off your artistic talents
and submit a masterpiece to the 7th Annual
Hanson Public Library Art Show!
Artwork can be submitted to the Library between October 1st to November 5th, and will be on display for online and community judging from November 7th to 18th. Winners will be announced at our Open House on November 19th. 
Art should be original and reflect an image inspired by a book or poem. All artwork must be 8.5 by 11 inches to fit in our display frames. 
 
There will be prize ribbons awarded for four categories: Child (Age 4-7), Youth (Age 8-11), Young Adult (Age 12-16), Adult (Age 17+)

Adopt a Reading Buddy Sleepover!
To celebrate the one year anniversary of this amazingly successful program, we're holding a Reading Buddy sleepover!  
 
Create a name tag for your Buddy and bring them to the library anytime between 3:00-5:00 pm on Monday, October 17th. Read your Buddy a bedtime story and tuck them in for the night.  
 
Then join us Tuesday, October 18th at 5:00 pm for light refreshments and a slide show of the mischief they got into while the library was closed!
