HANSON PUBLIC LIBRARY BUILDING PROJECT

Have heard about the $100,000 state grant the Library received to plan a needed expansion? And about the potential for a construction grant that could fund approximately 50% of construction costs? We were ranked #1 in the state for medium-sized libraries for this grant ground! The Library Building Committee is currently working with an Owner's Project Manager and architect to develop potential layouts for an addition to the existing building, and they've launched a website where you can read more about the project, sign up for newsletter updates, and follow their progress on social media.

20th Annual Open House

Celebrate the 20th anniversary of our Library Open House featuring Chase from PAW Patrol, The Great Rolando Magic Show, the 10th Annual Art Show Awards Ceremony, live music, crafts, refreshments, and more!

Registration is required for the magic show, all other activities are drop in. Sponsored by HPL Foundation.

Library Tours
Every first Saturday at 10:00am from November to May

We received a grant to design a renovated and expanded facility! Take a tour the library to learn about the current building's challenges and our plan to address them as part of the renovation. Held every first Saturday from November to May at 10:00 am. Can't make Saturday? Contact us to schedule a different day.
