It’s All Relative! Mansfield Public Library Genealogy Club Thurs. November 9th 6:30PM
Whether you are at the start of the journey into your family history and not sure where to begin, or you are a seasoned pro, this new genealogy club is for you! The Mansfield Public Library Genealogy Club is for those who have an interest in genealogy. We will discuss our own journeys in the fascinating and sometimes overwhelming areas of genealogy and share tips and tricks that have become useful along the way. At the first meeting, Reference Librarian Whitney Brown will also go over genealogy resources that the library has to offer, both print and digital! The Mansfield Public Library Genealogy Club meets in-person on the second Thursday of the month. This event is free and open to all. Registration Required.

Spice Club: Allspice Wed., November 15th
Do you love to cook and want to try new flavors and recipes? Or maybe you’re tired of cooking the same old thing and want to try something new? Then we have got just the club for you!!! Time to get spicy and join the Mansfield Public Library’s Spice Club! Every month, a new spice and recipes will be featured each month. We will provide a Spice Pack which will include: - Information and history of each featured spice.
- Two new recipes from A to Z World Food database (A Mansfield Public Library card is required to access this database).
- Pre-measured featured spice for the two recipes that month
Once registered, come to the library on Wednesday, November 15th, to pick up the kit.
Be sure to register individually if you have more than one person to sign up. The spice club is open to ages 13 and up.

You've heard of a Thanksgiving Feast but how about a Book Feast? Join us for a Teen Book Tasting! We'll have place settings with Young Adult books of numerous genres for teens to explore and rate. While we feast on the books, we'll enjoy some snacks! Whether you're an avid reader, a reluctant reader or someone who doesn't know what to read next, this is sure to expose you to some new books and authors. Teen Art Lab Friday, November 24th 3:00-4:30PM The Teen Art Lab will be open Friday, November 24th from 3-4:30PM! Teens can stop in during the open studio time to work on a creative project of their choice using our supplies. We'll have a wide variety of materials like paints, watercolors, glue guns, colored pencils and more. Come alone or bring some friends along! This is a drop-in program so there's no need to register. Stop in any time from 3-4:30 and bring home your artwork. We hope to see you there!

Children can choose a book from the library or bring one from home and will have 5-10 minutes to read to either Cindy the Corgi or Hadley the Newfoundland. Friends of the Library Book Sale The Friends of the Library happily accept donations of books in excellent condition, to add to their year-round Book Sale inside the Library.
To make a donation, please call to make an appointment 508-261-7380. Please do not leave donations outside the library or in the book drop. The Friends offer a variety of books for all ages. Most items cost $1! The Friends do not accept: - Books that have been stored in an attic or basement
- Books that have mildew or mold
- Books with missing, yellowed or written in pages
- Books without the dust jacket
- Textbooks
