Renovations on our new Library continue to progress at a steady clip, and we remain on track for a Grand Opening this fall. We recently hosted a community forum regarding the project, and you can watch the full program by clicking HERE to see all the behind the scenes renovation photos. While we work towards moving into our new home, we are still offering a variety of programs out of our temporary spaces. Join us at Old Town Hall on Thursday May 22nd where Tim Weisberg, paranormal researcher and author of Ghosts of the SouthCoast, will discuss the history and the legends of the Bridgewater Triangle. We are also pleased to announce that we have added a new museum pass for the RISD Museum. Feel free to take a look at all the museum passes we offer courtesy of the Friends and the Dighton Cultural Council. We are also pleased to announce that the Library will be hosting another round of community yoga every Thursday morning in May. These sessions are free, but don't forget to call the Library at (508) 669-6421 to register. In addition to our regularly scheduled children's programs, we will also be offering toddler craft time every Wednesday morning at 10:30 in the Children's Section in the Lower Level of Town Hall. Speaking of the Children's Section, please take the time at some point in May to submit a wildlife photo by e-mail to Miss Lorie for entry in our June photo contest. Don't forget that the Library will be closed on Monday May 26th due to Memorial Day and on Saturday May 31st due to the Cow Chip Festival.
