Dighton Public Library
October 2025
A new era for the Dighton Public Library is officially upon us, as we have officially opened our Library at 207 Main Street. Thank you to all who have made this building a reality. We have uploaded a few photo albums on our Facebook page with photos from our September 20th ribbon cutting. If you would like to talk about our new Library and share any ideas, feel free to stop by and chat with Laura the Librarian the evening of Wednesday October 22nd and enjoy a cup of tea in the process. Our full slate of children's programs begins in October with Tot Time on Mondays and Tuesdays and movie nights on Thursday evenings before movie nights switch to Wednesday evenings beginning in November. Speaking of our Children's Section, we will be having a Halloween party for preschoolers on October 30th at 1:00 with games and activities. Our pet photo contest contest begins in November, so e-mail Miss Lorie your photo by the end of October to make sure your pet is entered. Children and adults can both submit entries to the contest. Check our calendar to see everything we will be offering, and don't forget that the Library will be closed on Monday October 13th due to the Holiday.

Thank you to everybody who contributed to our new Library and made our Ribbon Cutting and Grand Opening such an amazing success!

Copies of the book are available at the Library for anybody looking to take part. The Book Group meets on the last Wednesday of each month, and anybody interested is welcome to attend.
