The new year is finally upon us, and we hope you have all enjoyed a great start to your 2024. Our first snow of the season came and went, which is a reminder that we have an assortment of new titles if you are looking for a book to curl up with on a cold winter night. New titles include both fiction and nonfiction for children, teens, and adults, and include something for everybody. This month also brought great news for our new 207 Main Street building, as our Friends of the Library Group donated $10,000 towards building renovations. Certainly 2024 will no doubt be an exciting time for the library while renovations continue and we prepare to make Smith Memorial Hall into our new library. In the meantime, library staff continues to provide exceptional service to all of our patrons. Ms. Lorie continues to offer regular programming for children in Youth Services in the lower level of the town hall, and we have a full slate of exciting, interesting, and engaging programs coming your way not just this month but throughout 2024. Whether you are looking to check out a book, take in one of our programs, or just want to say hello, feel free to stop by and see what is new during the month of January.
