March can be a busy month with everything going on, including St. Patrick's Day, the first day of Spring, and even Easter, but there is still plenty to check out at the Dighton Public Library. When you stop by the Children's Section, don't forget to vote for your favorite pet photograph. The contest will run through March 16th before we announce the winners. Speaking of voting, the Friends of the Dighton Public Library are once again hosting Candidates Night at the Dighton Middle School on March 25th if you want to ask questions of the candidates running in the 2024 annual town election. Our free community yoga program continues throughout March every Thursday at 10:30 at Old Town Hall, so register if you are interested. Be sure not to miss local author and Lizzie Borden expert Dr. Stefani Koorey when she comes to Old Town Hall on March 28th to reveal her insight into the infamous 1892 Fall River murders, and don't forget to save the date for live music by the acoustic folk-rock duo Knock on Wood when they come to Dighton on April 5th for a unique and entertaining show.
