April is National Poetry Month Places, Please, Act One Saturday, Apr. 19 | 2-3 p.m. | Jahn Room Michèle LaRue is a professional actress with a degree in Acting from the University of Kansas. She has toured nationally for 23 years. Her exuberant spoken-word performance is presented as a series of one-act plays from 35 theatre poems by Warren Kliewer, who was a much published 20th Century poet, essayist, actor, director, playwright and producer with ties to Kansas.
