The John’s Island Library was opened Oct. 26, 2004. At 16,000 square feet, it is the largest of the five regional libraries. The facility provides an auditorium, a smaller conference room and a children’s story hour room. The collections are comprised of nearly 92,000 volumes, DVDs, videos, books on CD and music on CD. Approximately 40 computers serve the communities of John’s Island, Kiawah, Seabrook and Wadmalaw.
