The last day of the Children's Summer Reading Club is today, Monday August 17. If you've recorded minutes online, on paper or over the phone, you can come and pick up a prize bag from the Children's Dept. (or call 631-286-0818 x2 to arrange curbside delivery) from now until September 4. One bag per registered child.

We're still accepting entries for the Children's Book Cover Contest! Families, can you recreate the cover of a favorite children's book, and take a picture? If so, you can enter this contest! Email the picture(s) to childrens@sctylib.org by Augugst 28, with the name of the book, and you'll be entered to win a fun family prize!

This week's Craft Kit: Photo Transfer Coasters available starting Wednesday Create a set of 4 personalized coasters using a photo transfer technique! (very few craft kits left!) Everyone who registers will be contacted to arrange pickup. The materials including instructions needed to make this craft are included in the kit, except for the following:

You will need to supply your own scissors and pictures. The pictures must be printed on a laser printer. If you do not have access to a laser printer, you can email your photos along with your name to the library at Teen@sctylib.org with the subject Coasters. We will print them and contact you when they are ready to be picked up.
