Library News
from South Country Library
September 8, 2020

Building community by sharing the wonders of learning, creating, and connecting with one another.

Hello South Country Community,

Welcome to our revised e-newsletter. We've cleaned out many of the older resources -- you can click here to view them. And are you keeping up with us on Facebook?

If you haven't set a date to get your flu shot, how about next Tuesday at the library? Read more below, then check out our offerings for Teens and Adults. And don't miss all of the great activities from the Children's Department, including Craft Kits and a letter-of-the-week activity pack!

We wish you a happy and healthy start to the new school year. Stay smart and safe, and we'll see you soon.

~ South Country Library

P.S. Just checking...you know we're open, right? Weekdays 9:30 - 9:00, and Saturdays 9:30 - 5:00. One-hour in-building limit to use a computer and/or browse and borrow from our collections, as long as you're wearing a face mask and stay socially-distanced. Thanks!

Notice: Sunday Hours
The library will not be reopening on Sundays for the remainder of 2020, due to operations changes made in response to COVID-19.
Come to the Library to get your Flu Shot!
Tuesday, September 15, 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM

We've partnered with CVS to hold a walk-up flu-shot clinic in our parking lot. Masks are required and social distance must be maintained. If able, please print and complete this form before coming to the clinic (copies will also be available on-site). For questions, please contact CVS Pharmacy at 631-654-0329.

Clinic is available to those who have health insurance. If you do not have health insurance, we encourage you to visit your local CVS or other pharmacy to pay for a flu shot ($40-50 per regular dose / $70-80 per high dose for seniors).

Do you feel that hint of crispness in the air?
That means we're getting close to the...
