LIBRARY USER CHALLENGE: Share this newsletter with someone who maybe doesn't use the library. They may be surprised at all the library offers!

Hi Readers!
Just wanted to let you know that your public library is always on the move, keeping our collection fresh and exciting. We regularly add new books and other materials, and we also make sure to tidy up by removing items that are no longer in demand. Plus, we often rearrange things to make it easier for you to find what you're looking for.
Recently, we've made a cool change by mixing our biographies into the subject categories. This way, you can enjoy a more seamless reading experience and find great stories that match your interests. We've also spruced up our conversation area with new seating to make it even more inviting. So come on in, explore, and enjoy all the new and improved offerings at your library.
Warm regards, Lisa Johnson |

BOOK TALK:
"Mending Matters" Book Review | |
|
|
There are many reasons to learn different ways of mending your clothes—perhaps to save your budget or save the planet—or, if you're like me, you like to have a craft to do that results in a tangible improvement in your life. Before I checked out this book, I had four pairs of jeans with various holes in them sitting around, waiting for me to learn how to mend them. Now, I can wear one of them again, and I have a good idea of how I'll tackle the rest! Mending Matters is a good starting point to learn some basic hand stitches and ways to turn patches

into fashion statements. You certainly don't have to use every suggestion or even read the whole thing to get something out of it. If you're a beginner, I definitely recommend learning the stitches, and if you're more advanced, a brief skim for ideas might do the trick! Either way, consider checking out Mending Matters.
