Have you watched the free film Dream Big: Engineering Our World? Want to find out more? Did you know that engineers are already imagining floating cities? How about meeting engineers who play Minecraft or dance hip hop? Join the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) online to meet young, diverse engineers making a difference in communities across the country and across the world.

Join Menzer Pehlivan and Sophie Lipomanis on Tuesday, November 10 at 1:00 PM to learn more about women making a difference in engineering in this live YouTube event (https://youtu.be/WD2jtYSOZ0Q).

Ms. Pehlivan, a geotechnical engineer with a specialty in earthquakes, is one of the stars of the documentary, Dream Big: Engineering Our World. She has been spearheading change in the engineering industry by promoting the crucial role that engineers play in shaping the future and changing the world.

Ms. Lipomanis is a Junior Civil Engineering Student at the University of Louisville. After graduation she plans to serve as a US Naval Officer with the Civil Engineering Corps as part of the Sea Bees (Construction Battalion). The Sea Bees are often deployed after natural disasters for humanitarian relief.
