Hello South Country Community, Halloween might be over, but our treats keep coming! Teens, if you're feeling creative or clever, you'll love the upcoming crafts and mysteries. Adults, keep the blood moving with our gentle exercise programs, plus learn about genealogy resources and how to shop smartly for technology. And families with children, don't miss the craft and activity kits, plus storytimes and a contest! We will be closed on Wednesday, November 11, for Veterans Day. To all of our veterans near and far -- thank you. ~ South Country Library P.S. You can still vote for us every day in the Best of Long Island contest. Scroll down to Education on the left, click on Public Library, and find us near the bottom. |

Give or Take Food Pantry We have a food pantry set up in the lobby where, thanks to all of your generous donations, neighbors in need can help themselves to items anytime the library is open.
We will continue to have a bin in the lobby where non-perishable food donations can be dropped off to help keep the pantry stocked. We know this is a difficult time for many, and we hope this helps ease the burden.
