At the top of the Fiction List, The Vanishing Half by Brit Bennett, a novel about twin sisters who choose to live in two very different worlds, one black and one white. The top nonfiction title is Isabel Wilkerson’s Caste: The Origins of Our Discontents, which examines How America today and throughout its history has been shaped by a hidden caste system.
