Silicon Valley Reads 2023 Theme and Books Released Silicon Valley Reads is celebrating a milestone in 2023 – it’s 20th anniversary! We are celebrating with some great reads and two months of free in-person and virtual programs. Over the last two years, when the world experienced a global pandemic, Silicon Valley Reads gave people hope for the future with themes like “Connecting” and “The Power of Kindness, Resilience and Hope.” It has become clear that in 2023, the community is ready to move forward. For our 20th anniversary, we will set off on a “Journey to New Beginnings.” The 2023 Journey to New Beginnings features three adult fiction titles: On Thursday, January 26th, 2023 we will host a free kickoff event with all three authors at the Visual & Performing Arts Center Theater at De Anza College in Cupertino. Throughout February and March, we invite you to participate in dozens of free programs for all ages. This includes author talks, panel discussions, educational events, demonstrations, performances, adult classes, activities for students, storytimes and an in-person art show. The complete schedule of events will be published in early January on the SiliconValleyReads.org website. We hope you can join us. Happy reading!
