Going forward, users with Amazon Fire tablets can now download Libby directly from the app store instead of sideloading the app. The OverDrive app has been removed from the Amazon Appstore. However, Fire tablet users who already have it can continue to use it, but it is no longer being updated. OverDrive app users will be encouraged to upgrade to Libby.
