Introducing Our Strategic Plan for the Next Five Years

The Santa Clara County Library District is proud to share the Strategic Plan for 2023-2028. This plan will serve as a guide and navigational tool to help our libraries rise to new heights, and maintain focus on our commitment to best serve our communities.

SCCLD Vision:
The Santa Clara County Library District aspires to be an inclusive space where everyone feels welcomed, supported in their lifelong learning, and energized to help us evolve as a community. We will work to create a world in which access to knowledge, resources, and opportunities is guaranteed to all.

SCCLD Mission:
At Santa Clara County LIbrary District, YOU:
Belong. Connect. Discover.

Our Strategic Plan has four priorities, all of which are equally important and supported by goals to achieve each priority:

1.Welcome: We welcome all, providing inclusive and compassionate library service throughout the district.
2.Listen: We listen, valuing the voices of our patrons, our communities, and our partners.
3.Inspire: We inspire, building the foundations of literacy with our community
4.Innovate: We innovate, fostering a culture of curiosity and opportunity.

The next five years will be an exciting time as SCCLD moves forward with the Strategic Plan to enrich lives, expand horizons and evolve with our community.
