NoveList K-8 helps young readers find books appropriate for their reading level, as does Accelerated Reader.

TEENS AND ADULTS

Teen Book of the Month
Make sure to place your hold for the Teen Book of the Month for December.

The Black Kids by Christina Hammonds Reed is about a black teen living in Los Angeles in 1992. Ashley is trying to get all the enjoyment she can out of her senior year of high school, but then the Rodney King riots begin. Despite being sheltered by her parents, Ashley can no longer ignore the injustice.
