Honoring our Friends of the Library Groups During Week of Oct. 18-24 We want to take a moment to give a big “THANK YOU” to our library support groups including the Friends of the Library, Library Endowments, Library Foundations, North County Library Authority, Library Commissions, and our Joint Powers Authority Board during National Friends of the Libraries Week. This week, we recognize their hard work, dedication, and time spent supporting our libraries. Each of our libraries’ Friends group is independently operated to help support the local library through fundraising, volunteering, and awareness. Friends of the Library groups also host used book sales, with proceeds supporting library services.
If you’d like to take a more active role in supporting your local library, we encourage you to consider joining one of these groups. Learn more on our website.
