MORE FROM THE LIBRARY
Honoring Those Who Gave Everything
Monday, May 26 is Memorial Day, a federal holiday established to honor the many brave men and women who have died in the service of their country, from the time of the Revolutionary War up to today. May is also Military Appreciation Month, which celebrates those who have served in the past and currently.

We have a webpage dedicated to veterans. Active duty military service members, veterans, and their families can find help with VA benefits or transitioning from military to civilian careers. The County also has an Office of Veterans Services (VSO), which offers drop-in in-person assistance once a week and by appointment.

VSO is hosting an event for veterans this Friday, May 23 from 9 a.m. -- 3 p.m. at 353 W. Julian Street. "Breaking the Stigma" will offer community resources and available mental health services. Learn more and preregister.

Our libraries will be closed on Monday, May 26 for Memorial Day. Our Online Library is always available.
