Happy Lunar New Year!

The Lunar New Year is Friday, February 12 and this year we are celebrating the Year of the Ox. The Chinese zodiac has great influence on the everyday lives of many Chinese people and other Asian communities worldwide.

We are celebrating the New Year with several children's events on Friday. Join us at 11 a.m. for Mandarin/English storytime with Miss Jean. Then at 1 p.m. we will be hosting a New Year's craft, where we will be creating drums, hanging paper oranges and painting quince branches. See the items you will need here. Both events will be live-streamed on Facebook. Also, enjoy this booklist of children's books.
