A Library Card is Your Most Important School Supply! Many schools in Santa Clara County are gearing up for the next school year. The Santa Clara County Library District (SCCLD) libraries are ready to help students of all ages succeed. Be sure your student has a library card! Students (and educators) can find books and research materials on different topics in our libraries, Bookmobile, and Online Library. Our librarians are ready to help patrons find the right resources, including those geared specifically toward students. Check out this blog that highlights some great free resources we offer to help students excel. One of them is Brainfuse HelpNow, which provides free daily online tutoring help for grades K-12 from 1 – 10 p.m. every day. Students can get help with English and language arts, math, science, social studies, test prep, and more. Tutoring is available in English and Spanish. Find it here. The Library has many additional resources to help students get ready for the new school year. We also have fun and helpful books for students about to start elementary and middle school. Students at participating public schools within our service area receive Student eAccounts, which allow them to access quality online information and resources. In fact, the students with eAccounts have access to dedicated Student Portals (elementary/middle and high school) which highlight and organize our online student resources according to school subjects for ease of use. We wish all students a successful school year!
