Lobby Service Starts Monday

Starting Monday, March 8, most Santa Clara County Library District locations will offer lobby service, in addition to contactless curbside service. These options are offered at the Cupertino, Gilroy, Los Altos, Milpitas, Morgan Hill and Saratoga Libraries Monday-Saturday. Please note: Campbell library will continue offering curbside and walkup service.

Lobby service allows patrons to enter libraries to pick up holds, browse limited book and movie collections, or pick up a book bundle to discover something new. No appointment is needed to enjoy lobby service, and patrons are asked to keep their visit to 10 minutes to allow as many patrons as possible, to safely enjoy this service.

Visitors who enter the library must be COVID-19 symptom free, wear a face covering and maintain social distance. Hand sanitizer is available as they enter and exit the library. Each library has self-service machines for patrons to check out items. Patrons will need to have their library card with them, or know their library card number and PIN to use the self-check machines. If you do not remember your PIN, please call (408) 540-3945 before using lobby service.

Patrons may still make an appointment for curbside service, where a staff member will bring items out to a patron’s vehicle. Appointments can be made online or by phone at (408) 540-3947. See hours and full schedule here.

We look forward to seeing you at the library!

Humorous Children's Books
