SPECIAL EDITION NEWSLETTER
Limited Edition San Jose Sharks x SCCLD Library Cards Out Today!

September is National Library Card Sign Up Month, an annual campaign to get library cards in the hands of all adults, teens and children.

This year, the Santa Clara County Library District is partnering up with the San Jose Sharks to release limited edition library cards. These cards, available starting today, feature the Sharks brand new look and the slogan – Turn it All Teal.

People can visit any SCCLD library location or the Bookmobile to get a free library card. Existing patrons can also get this brand new card.

SCCLD library cards allow patrons full access to borrow up to 100 items at a time. A library card also give you access to free county and state park passes, and Discover & Go passes to local museums, galleries and other attractions.

From the best and latest books and magazines to valuable electronic resources that would cost thousands of dollars a year to access independently, libraries offer a wide variety of information, education, and entertainment free of charge. All of it is free with a library card!

We are celebrating this new partnership with a special storytime event at Cupertino Library on Tuesday, September 8 at 4 p.m. Join us for stories, giveaways and special guests from the San Jose Sharks!
