Campbell Library to Reopen This Spring!
The Santa Clara County Library District (SCCLD) has exciting news to share regarding the highly anticipated, fully remodeled Campbell Library.

Construction of the building and landscape is complete. Now our library staff are starting the final stage of preparations -- moving in brand new furniture, thousands of books, and a whole lot of equipment. Mark your calendar!

The Grand Opening celebration is set for Saturday, May 9.

Patrons can look forward to floor-to-ceiling windows that span two floors with a flood of light. On the upper floor, a flexible community gathering space called The Overlook is a welcoming sight upon entering the library. The Overlook is flanked on one side by the Community Room and the Children’s Room on the opposite side. Travel to the back of The Overlook and find a picturesque, unobstructed view of Orchard Green.

The downstairs area is an oasis for teens and adults to browse, read, study, work, and relax. With laptops to borrow, free WiFi, booths, and plenty of seating, the fully renovated 24,000 square foot Campbell Library will be a destination for all residents.

The last day of service at the Campbell Express Library will be Saturday, April 4.

Virtual Author Visit for Kids
We invite our younger patrons to a virtual author visit with bestselling author Kate Messner as we explore her Over and Under series, aimed at students in grades K-3.

The beautifully illustrated Over and Under books explore precious ecosystems, landscapes, and the animals that call these places “home,” all over the world. From snowy terrains to the Everglades, to the rainforests and even the dirt beneath our feet, these books make an upbeat jumping-off point for discussions of the importance and wonder of our world’s natural habitats.

This webinar is on Thursday, March 26 at 4 p.m. Please register to attend.

Make Today Your Lucky Day
St. Patrick’s Day (Tuesday, March 17) is associated with good luck. Make every day a Lucky Day with the Lucky Day collection, available on the Libby app.

It’s a collection of in-demand eBooks and Audiobooks available with instant checkout. No holds. No delays. Just good timing to borrow a popular title for one week.

Here’s what makes the Lucky Day Collection so special:
  • Borrow Instantly: Titles in this collection are available on a first-come, first-served basis. If you check it out when you find it, it’s yours. No need to place a hold or wait your turn. Just look for the shamrock to identify a Lucky Day title!
  • Always Changing: Since titles rotate regularly, each visit to the Lucky Day Collection feels like a fresh discovery. Check back often—you never know what you might find next.
So go ahead—open the Libby app and see if today is your lucky day.
