Welcome to Summer!

The summer season is here, a time for traveling, barbecues and now, visiting with friends and family. The library can help you plan the perfect getaway, or whisk you away even if your getaway is the backyard.

Fruits and vegetables are coming into season right now. These cookbooks can help create something delicious in the kitchen or on the grill. Find different ways to keep the kids active this summer with this great ideas.

Explore the area with these guide books. Can’t get out? Enjoy these travel & outdoor titles about different parts of the world. We also have great fiction and romance novels that will transport you to another time and place.

If you do venture out, please be advised this is the time of year when high heat poses risks to vulnerable populations, including those without air conditioning, young children, older adults and those with chronic ailments. Find heat safety tips here.
