KIDS AND FAMILIES

New Kid's Art Club Schedule
Our Kid’s Art Club is back in January, full of great crafts and activities for school-age children. Find different projects from collages to pillows and different kinds of paintings.
 
Join us on every other Tuesday at 4 p.m. starting on January 5. Register to participate over Zoom or join us on Facebook.
 
Don’t forget to submit pictures of your creations to our ongoing art gallery.
Animated eBooks for Kids 
Watch some of your favorite classic tales come to life with Kanopy Kids, let Bookflix match a video storybook with a related nonfiction eBook, or see your Sesame Street friends in animated, interactive eBooks. SCCLD has many options for the kids to enjoy while they learn!

Predict the 2021 Grammy Awards
The SCCLD Movies and Music Team is challenging you to try to guess the winners in the Best New Artist, Record, Song, and Album of the Year categories at the upcoming Grammy Awards.

Now Available: New Automatic Renewals Feature
In case you missed it, SCCLD is happy to offer a new service to provide convenience and peace of mind.
 
Our automatic renewal service extends due dates on eligible physical materials from SCCLD. There are a few requirements for eligibility, including more available copies than holds, and not reaching the maximum number of five renewals.

New Year's Holiday Hours
We want to let you know about our upcoming hours during New Year’s.
 
On Thursday, December 31, all libraries will close and services will be unavailable at 5 p.m. On Friday, January 1, all libraries will be closed and services unavailable all day.
 
We will be back open on Saturday, January 2.
 
Our Online Library is always available for your convenience.
