KIDS AND FAMILIES

Getting Ready for the New School Year!
Many schools in Santa Clara County are starting the new academic year in the coming weeks. Santa Clara County Library District (SCCLD) libraries are ready to help students of all ages succeed.

Students (and educators) can find books and research materials on different topics in our libraries, Bookmobile and Online Library, and our librarians are ready to help patrons find the right resources, including those geared specifically for students.

Check out this blog that highlights some great free online resources we offer to help students excel. One of them is Brainfuse HelpNow, which provides free daily online tutoring help for grades K-12 from 1 – 10 p.m. Students can get help with English and language arts, math, science, social studies, test prep, and more. Tutoring is available in English and Spanish. Find it here.

The Library has many additional resources to help students get ready for the new school year. We also have fun and helpful books for students about to start elementary and middle school.

We wish all students a successful school year!
