Introducing the Serenity Suite

& Breastfeeding Support

I am also proud to announce the opening of the new Serenity Suite at the Main Library. Designed specifically for nursing mothers, this private space offers a comfortable environment to nurse or pump while visiting us. To expand on this commitment to local families, MPL is partnering with Blooming with Grace Lactation Services to host a free monthly Breastfeeding Support Group. Led by Barbara Z. Ceres, RN, IBCLC, the group is open to expectant and nursing mothers, partners,

grandparents, and caregivers. Meetings will cover practical topics such as preparing to nurse, returning to work, boosting milk supply, self-care, and dispelling common myths. The Serenity Suite ensures mothers have the comfort and privacy they deserve without missing out on everything the library has to offer.
