Program Registration for November/December Programs begins Monday, November 3 at 9 a.m. for East Islip Library Cardholders. 

All programs may be registered online or in person.

Out of district registration begins Wednesday, November 5.

Programs with a fee are non-refundable.

Leaves from Great River Train Station

Tickets can be bought in advance at the Circulation Desk while supplies last or until Wednesday, December 3rd. Tickets are $11 cash only.  

Join us for an exciting journey to Brooklyn's famous Dyker Heights, where you can marvel at the spectacular holiday lights! Our first stop will be at Brookfield Place on Vesey Street in Lower Manhattan for an early dinner on your own. After dinner, we'll head to Dyker Heights to explore the enchanting holiday lights. Please keep in mind that the bus cannot navigate the side streets of Dyker Heights so some walking will be necessary. Be sure to dress appropriately for the outing! Check or money order payable to: East Islip Public Library. Registration ends Monday, December 1.

Tuesdays & Thursdays, 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.

We provide the room, you provide the game: canasta, mah jongg, bridge, scrabble, or any game you love to play!

Sewing Circle (285)  
Wednesdays, 1 - 3 p.m.

Stop by the library to join others that share your passion while you work on your current sewing project. Please bring your own supplies. Instructors may be available. Registration is not required.

Winter is a fun time for ducks and geese on LI! This courtship season, we can see over 40 different species, including geese, "strutting their stuff." Diane Taggart, longtime LI birder, will share photos and fun facts about these beautiful birds.

Genealogy 101 (409)

Thursday, November 6 at 6:30 p.m.

An introduction on how best to conduct genealogical research.  This program will be great for beginners to learn the steps needed to start their journey.

Join us for our bi-monthly TAB meeting where we will talk about our interests and welcome your suggestions for new teen programs and services. This is your chance to be heard! Earn one hour of community service for attending.
