Third and Fourth Graders, along with a favorite adult, are invited to join Beebe Library's First Thursday Book Club.

Share the love of reading in your family! We will be reading some of the very best middle grade books and explore beyond the plot to seek the themes, the authors' secret purpose, and what makes each book special. Along with the discussion, there will be a bag of stuff to pick up before the meeting to do a craft or activity that goes along with each month's book.

This Month's Book:  Because of Winn Dixie by Kate DiCamillo.  When Opal, a lonely girl in a new town, is sent to pick up Mac and Cheese, white rice and tomatoes at the local grocery store, she could have never guessed how much her life would change all because of a dirty homeless dog.  A magical book!
