History of Black Film: Harlem Rides the Range
Written by Spencer Williams and FE Miller and directed by Richard C. Kahn,  Harlem Rides the Range follows Bob Blake and his sidekick Dusty, two cowboys riding across the countryside in search of adventure.
They come across a ranch owned by Jim Dennison where it appears a murder has taken place. A man named Bradley is after Dennison's radium mine and it appears that his henchman Conners has killed him. When Blake leaves he drops a glove. Bradley kills Conners and uses the glove to frame Blake. Learning of Bradley's plan to kill Dennison's daughter Margaret, Blake escapes jail and sets out to reach her first.
