Winter Reading Club:  Eye-Catching Reads
Children: Ages Birth up to Grade 5
Saturday, December 1– Sunday, February 24
Sign up and reporting begins on Saturday, December 1.
The first fifty children to sign up will receive a certificate that entitles them to one free ticket to a Children’s Theater Production, with the purchase of an adult ticket, at the Noel S. Ruiz Theatre in Oakdale.  Record the books you read on your reading chart. Each week you can select a prize from our treasure chest. The reading club runs through Sunday, February 24. Join us for an ice cream party on Friday, February 22 at 6:30pm for anyone who participated in the reading club.

Learn tips on how to prepare popular convenience foods at home, discuss the difference between healthy and unhealthy fats, and learn tips to choose healthier foods when eating out.  Together, we will help prepare (and eat) a healthier version of a family favorite… TACOS! Presented by: Cornell University Cooperative Extension of Suffolk County

Meet our Therapy Dogs: Dice, Nugget, Daisy, Fineas, Muncha! This is a program that allows children to read aloud to a trained therapy dog in order to improve reading and communication skills. Drop in anytime within the hour to participate.
