Let's Make Ice Cream

Drop by Studio M, the library's maker studio, to check out the equipment. Studio M has a 3D printer, Cricut Cutting Machine, Button Maker, Heat Press, Photo Scanner, and Portable Green Screens. Stop by today if you're working on a project, or just curious.

Drop In Play

Join Monroe Township Public Library’s first Crochet Along!

The Crochet Along (CAL) will run from May 21 through July 10 for a nice, relaxed project with plenty of time for you to make the pattern. The pattern, as selected by survey, will be a Sampler Afghan. The project will be broken into smaller parts with goals to achieve by each check-in session. You can of course start the pattern at any time you wish. The check-in goals are there for those that like deadlines but are not requirements for participation.
*Registration is not required but if you would like email reminders or updates, please register.*

  • A medium to large sized button
Students must take the Meet Your Sewing Machine class or have prior machine sewing knowledge to take this class. Ages 18 and over.

Personalize It! Iron on a Decal

Teens: Use the Cricut smart cutting machine to cut a decal out, and heat-press it onto frabic.
Pencil cases and drawstring bags available while supplies last, or bring your own cotton tote or tee shirt.
Drop in any time between 1:30 and 4. Project will take about a half hour.

A Caregiver Support Group meets at the Library monthly on the second Wednesday of the month.
This group is intended for caregivers only; no solicitation and no distribution of promotional materials. Led by Kat Verdi, MAT CDP, CADDCT, Certified Alzheimer’s and Dementia Care Trainer, of The Gardens at Monroe. Her mission is to educate, empower and encourage caregivers. This program is held in person. Registration is not required.
