Computer & Copier

Computer and printer/copier use is available by appointment. Availability is limited to maintain social distancing.
To reserve a time, please call 608-838-9030. 

  • Appointments available Monday-Friday 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM.
  • 1 hour time limit, 1 reservation per day.
  • Staff assistance is limited to maintain social distancing.
  • Printer/copier accepts coins, $1 bills, Visa/MasterCard, Apple/Google/Samsung Pay. Staff cannot make change.
  • Cost: Black & white = $0.10/page, Color = $0.50/page.
  • Masks required in accordance with the current order from Public Health Madison Dane County. Disposable masks are available.
  • No food or drink inside the library.
  • No browsing/checking out library materials. Patrons must remain in the computer/copier area or lobby.
  • Patrons are expected to follow our Library COVID-19 Policy and Public Computer Acceptable Use Policy or may be asked to leave.

COVID-19 Safety Guidelines

  • All employees wear face coverings and practice social distancing, and we require that patrons do the same. Disposable masks are available. We follow the guidelines of Public Health Madison Dane County (publichealthmdc.com/coronavirus/masks). A face covering should cover the nose and mouth completely and includes but is not limited to a bandana, a cloth face mask, a disposable or paper mask, a neck gaiter, or a religious face covering. A face covering does not include face shields, mesh masks, masks with holes or openings, or masks with vents.
  • Computer stations/copier will be sanitized between uses.
  • Please wash or sanitize hands before and after your visit. Hand sanitizing stations are available.
  • No food or drinks allowed inside the library.
  • Headphones/earbuds are not available, please bring your own.
  • Please stay home if:
    • You are currently experiencing any of the following symptoms:
      --Cough/shortness of breath
      --Fever >100 F
      --Chills
      --Muscle pain
      --Sore throat
      --New loss of taste or smell
      --Any other symptoms of respiratory infections not attributable to seasonal allergies
    • You have received a positive COVID-19 test result or diagnosis in the past 14 days.
    • In the past 14 days, you have been exposed to an individual who later tested positive for COVID-19.
    • You or a member of your household is currently awaiting the results of a COVID-19 test.
