Bookmark Design Contest Winners The San Leandro Public Libraries conducted a Bookmark Design Contest between Feb.22- Mar.22 in honor of Art Is Education month. All entries have been submitted, and three winners will be chosen to receive a PRIZE and have their design mass-printed and made available to Library and Museum patrons starting April.23rd for National Library Week. Tatreez Take & Make Celebrate National Arab American Heritage Month by picking up a free Tatreez (embroidery) Take & Make kit starting Saturday, 4/8. Tatreez is a Palestinian embroidery style that has been passed down for centuries. The Kit includes everything you need to create a cross-stitch Tatreez pattern of the Cypress Tree design.
