We're open!
The Chappaqua Library is now open for public
in-person browsing with limited hours and some restrictions. Curbside pickup six days a week continues - please see guidelines below.
Our public hours are Tuesdays, Thursdays & Saturdays 11 am - 3 pm and Wednesdays 3-7 pm. Please observe the following:
  • Each patron will have a maximum of 30 minutes in the library
  • No more than 25 patrons can be in the library at one time
  • All patrons MUST wear masks, per New Castle Town Ordinance
  • Hand sanitizer will be available upon entering and throughout the building
  • Other restrictions include:
  • No seating
  • No computers 
  • No meeting rooms
  • NO RESTROOMS
The Children's Room remains closed but new materials are available to browse in the main part of the library.  All events and programs will continue virtually.  We are available by phone and email during our regular hours.
The Chappaqua Library is proud to announce that Thao Nguyen has joined the Library as our new Head of Library Services.

Do you use Lynda.com? Westchester Library System is migrating patrons from Lynda.com to LinkedIn Learning. The migration is being done one library at a time and is expected to be completed in a few days. There will be no access during this process, but after it is complete you will be able to log in to Linkedin Learning using your library card number and PIN without needing to create a new profile.Your history, bookmarks, Certificates of Completion and playlists will migrate, but retired courses will not migrate.Click HERE to learn more.
Acorn TV Service Interruption
Acorn TV, currently provided through the Library’s RBDigital platform, will no longer be available through that platform as of May 14, 2021. We are working with other providers to continue free access to Acorn TV for our patrons, but there may be an interruption in service until this is implemented. We apologize for any
inconvenience.
Curbside Pickup -- click HERE to schedule
  • You are welcome to pick up your items inside during our browsing hours (see schedule above).
  • Curbside pickup will continue every even hour, beginning at 10 am until a half-hour before closing. 
  • While the library is open, we will not be able to service pickup requests made during the same pickup hour so please make your reservations in advance.
  • Your pre-scheduled pickup will be left on a table at the entrance. Items not picked up will be removed and returned to the shelves.
