Join Professional Flyfishing Guide Brandon Omahen for Intro to Flyfishing in the Fraser Valley. Masks are required for the duration of this program.

In the first part of this class you will receive an introduction to flyfishing in the Fraser Valley. Learn about fishing regulations, the gear you will need, the best time of day to fish and when not to fish. Discover which types of fish live in our rivers, what they eat and how to present a fly.

During the second part of the class you will head outdoors for a casting lesson, with an opportunity to practice casting on your own. If you have your own fly-rod and reel please bring with it you. Limited equipment will be available for use. Please note casting is an on land demonstration and practice only, and you will not be flyfishing in in the river.

This class is a part of our Summer Reading Program "Tails and Tales" promotion. Information on how to sign up for this year's Summer Reading Program will be provided.
