Day One SKILLZ Summer Peer Advisor
For Pasadena residents in 10th-12th grades. The role of a peer advisor is to encourage and engage middle school students during SKILLZ summer school sessions. Training provided.
Planned Parenthood Peer Advocates
Must be current high school student. As an advocate, you can make a difference by becoming a trusted and reliable source of information, while building relationships with key decision makers. Advocates earn a gift card based stipend.
PUSD Internship Program
For PUSD students age 16+
ROSE Program: City of Pasadena Paid Internship
Online Application Period: March 22 - April 16, 2021
For Pasadena residents ages 14-24 in low to moderate-income households. Work assignments include, but are not limited to the fields of recreation, maintenance, clerical, technology and engineering. Internship opportunities may be available throughout the year based on health restrictions due to COVID-19. 400 online entries available on a first come, first served basis. Getting a job at the library
The best way to apply for an entry level position at our library is to submit a job interest card. The link above lists library positions for the City of Pasadena. The entry level position title is LIBRARY PAGE. Click on the title, and then click SUBSCRIBE in the upper right corner of the popup. When we're hiring again for the position, you'll get an email notifying you when the application period is open. TIP: The job posting closes when we receive enough applicants, which means, it could close very quickly! Have your resume and application information ready so you can submit the application as soon as it opens.
Volunteer at the library
Variety of tasks assigned. Art, technology, writing, assisting with program preparation, homework help, plan programs, crafts, advocacy.

CalCC’s focus is on students, but it contains hard-to-find resources for counselors, teachers, parents, and guardians.
