Quiet Reading Room Policy

The Quiet Reading Room, located on the second floor of Tufts Library, is meant to be a silent space for reading and studying analog materials. Persons who are not able to be silent should not be in the space. Technology may not be used in the Quiet Reading Room, including but not limited to: laptops, cell phones, ereaders and tablets. These items may be present but not used in any way that creates noise or distraction to other patrons. 

There is no food or drink allowed in the Quiet Reading Room, with the exception of water in covered containers. 

All other library policies apply, including but not limited to the Appropriate Library Use and Safe Child Policies.
