Description

Welcome to Armchair Traveller! You will receive the Zoom link as soon as you register.

You will be visiting places from the comfort of your chair.

Join us for a Zoom presentation on Friday, June 4th at 1:00PM as we "head" to Cooperstown to visit the Fenimore Art Museum for a guided tour of the magnificent Thaw Collection of American Indian Art.

The Thaw Collection of American Indian Art was gifted from Eugene V. and Clare E. Thaw and opened to the public in 1995. The collection contains over 800 works of beautiful American Indian art that exemplifies beauty and impressive craftsmanship across the United States and Canada. This tour will highlight the best objects on view in the Thaw Gallery with a question-and-answer session at the end of the tour.

Our guest speaker, Julia Madore is the Assistant Curator of American Art at the Fenimore Art Museum & The Farmers' Museum in Cooperstown NY.

Registration required.
