As with previous years, each book you read will earn you a chance to win some fantastic raffle prizes, many of which are gift certificates to local businesses. You will be able to submit your reading logs both in person and online.

Virtual Tai Chi (via Zoom)

Jim Cummings teaches the 24 movements of the Beijing Tai Chi form. Learn the fundamental movements and theory; improve balance and overall health. Wear loose, comfortable clothing and soft-soled shoes. Click here to register. 
 
 
Outdoor Qigong at the Post Morrow Foundation
Fridays, August 13, 20, and 27 (3 sessions), 10:00 - 11:00 AM
16 Bay Road, Brookhaven
Join us for in-person Qigong! This ancient Chinese healing art consists of low-impact exercises which evidence shows to lower blood pressure, increase bone density, and improve balance. Instructor Tom Linden is certified by the Center for Taiji Studies.
 
Please arrive wearing a mask and maintain social distance. There will likely be insects and there will be no bathroom access -- please plan accordingly.
Rain will cancel an individual session.

Are you homebound?
You can get a COVID-19 Vaccine at home.
If you wish to receive the J&J vaccine, call 311.
The Suffolk Dept. of Health Services will send a nurse to your home to answer questions and administer the vaccine. Click for more info.
