The Egg Harbor Township Branch of the Atlantic County Library System has reopened as of Tuesday, February 20, 2024.
The branch had been temporarily closed since November 2023 for the installation of a new $2 million HVAC system and generator. “The new system will ensure a comfortable environment for our patrons and staff and help us achieve greater energy savings,” stated County Executive Dennis Levinson.
Partial funding for the project has been provided through a NJ State Library Construction Bond Grant and American Rescue Plan monies.
The Atlantic County Library System has done it again by sweeping the Best Branch Library category in the 2023 annual Best of the Press Reader's Choice Award for the second consecutive year in a row.
Congratulations to our Galloway Township, Ventnor, and Mays Landing branches and thank you to the patrons who voted for us as well as to the staff who have helped make it possible. We think all of our branches are winners!
Fantastic news! ACLS library card holders have instant digital access to even more movies, music, eBooks, audiobooks, and comics.
With over one million titles always available, having hoopla is like having your public library at your fingertips anytime, anywhere. Signing up, signing in and borrowing is easy.
