PART 1: THEMES and REGISTRATION

Introduction:  The State Library realizes that continuing COVID-19 issues, library closures, limited public access for an extended time period, internet connectivity issues, dealing with reopening plans and safety protocols all continue to have an impact on the ability of libraries to offer full and/or traditional Summer Reading programs. This survey asks libraries to report on statistics and participation levels for Summer Reading 2021 to help us understand the extent to which libraries continue to provide vital services and programs to communities and users during this time. We appreciate the efforts of all public library staff and systems staff to provide and support quality Summer Reading programs to children and teens in the communities they serve.

Please submit this report no later than September 22, 2021.
