A card-carrying cinephile and native New Englander, novelist Erika Montgomery lives with her family in the Mid-Atlantic where she teaches creative writing and watches an unspeakable amount of old movies. A Summer to Remember is her debut novel.

Frankie owns a memorabilia shop on Hollywood Boulevard, enchanting tourists into buying that one, perfect memory in the form of a movie prop or costume piece. She's been grieving the unexpected death of her mother, the founder of the shop, when she comes across an old envelope. Inside are two sealed letters and a photograph, which indicate the letters are from long-dead Hollywood starlet Glory Cartwright and addressed to Glory's husband and son. Frankie is shocked to find that the photograph is of her mother, along with Cartwright's equally famous husband, Mitch Beckett. Determined to find out more about her mother's connection to these two Hollywood royals, Frankie sets off for Cape Cod to finally deliver these letters and uncover her mother's secrets.
