Mobile Outreach Bus Friday, September 24, 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM (in the library's parking lot) Free health screenings by a Catholic Health registered nurse available for all adults (18 and older) include blood pressure, cholesterol, body mass index, and glucose screenings along with patient education and referrals as needed. Insurance is not required; no fees. First come, first served.

AAA Car Doctor: Electric Cars Thursday, September 30, 7:00 - 8:00 PM (via Zoom) The electric car future is closer than you think. Does avoiding gas stations appeal to you? John Paul, AAA’s Car Doctor, speaks about hybrid cars, plug-in hybrids, and full battery electric cars with pluses and minuses of ownership. Includes time for Q&A for all vehicles, electric or not.

Savvy Sightseer’s Video Vacation: Southwestern Italy (via YouTube) Video will be available for patrons to access for the month of October. Long ago, emperors would leave their hectic life in Rome to vacation on the shores of the Tyrrhenian Sea. Naples, Sorrento, the Amalfi Coast, the island of Capri and farther south to Sicily, were among the most popular spots to soak up sun and sea. In this video excursion, let’s head for sunny southern Italy!

Helps veterans and their families navigate the VA bureaucracy, provides academic tutoring, and assists with employment transition.

Provides various tools to help with every step of the job search including résumé assistance, interview preparation, and career planning.
|

Both above services provide live virtual assistance every day from 2:00 - 11:00 PM. A current library card is required.
